Facilities

The hotel has 8 rooms with each their double bed and bathroom with hot water and handmade, ’lake safe’ toiletries. We work together with the hotel next door if more rooms are needed. It has both suites and dorms in a high standard.

We have Starlink internet and batteries to make sure everything is up and running when the power goes out. That happens sometimes.

The ’living room’ is a 100 m2/1.000 sq.ft. room with plenty of space for sitting by the long table, in circles, dancing (nb: we don’t do parties) and more. From this room you enter our beautiful courtyard with lake view and a pretty magical outdoor kitchen that easily serves a full house.

Outdoor we have room for around 30 dining guests.

From the 80 m2 roof top you have full view to both the lake in the front and the volcano in the back. A powerful place for meditation, morning- and evening yoga sessions or to enjoy the thunderstorms in the wet season, full moon, starry nights etc.

Everything is designed and curated by us – Flora & Flemming who have before made several projects in Scandinavia that have been called magical by lifestyle magazines all over the world.

About our food

Highly vital, organic food is our specialty. We spend a lot of time searching for and selecting the very best ingredients to use in our kitchen. We also grow some ourselves. Our all-natural dairy products and ’criollo’ eggs are from a 5-cow-farm, most of our veggies are from IMAP, a project focusing on introducing permaculture to local farmers, and our lettuce and leafy greens are picked up daily at Eugenio’s – a guy who never learned to write og read. But his father taught him to grow food. His organic garden in the middle of San Pedro doesn’t have a name, homepage or phone number. You come and he harvests for you. Easy. The same goes for meat – chicks are from a regenerative farm and the beef is from cows who had a good life grazing on the mountains.

We apply the same attention to detail to our interior design. All our fabrics for the rooms are organic and/or handmade by local weavers and seamstresses. We work with local potteries, furniture makers, basket weavers and other craftsmen for a personal, natural feeling in all design details.

It’s not easy to work the way we do, but it’s the only way that makes sense for us. We want to live and do business in full accordance with our values and hopes for the World. We believe that a simple, beautiful, delicious life, supporting our local community and in sync with both our inner and outer nature is possible for all, if we make the right everyday choices. And it tastes and feels better.

We also see this way of life as one that will naturally deal with many serious issues for people and planet.

Rental of the entire hotel

Sunday-Thursday – standard rate: 3.330 GTQ/night

Friday-Saturday – standard rate: 3.800 GTQ

The prices include filtered water and all taxes.

Deposit: You pay the first night in deposit while booking. You can pay the deposit via bank transfer or crypto.

Terms: The deposit is non-refundable, but you can use it to change your booking to other dates up to 30 days prior to the event. The rest of the amount is paid 1 week prior to the retreat/event via invoice.
