As our friends and followers know, we had a pretty rough start to our Guatemala adventure. First our company in Sweden went bankrupt, and then we became the center of a deeply unfair and harmful media storm. Read more about us and the media storm here.

We know it looked both disturbing and also a bit weird from the outside. There we were, landed in paradise and working to create our new dream life, while our entire world as we knew it collapsed behind us. It was a wild ride, and it still is. We know what and who we are, and we don’t feel like explaining ourselves anymore than we already have done. If anything, we see the many lies about us and our mission as our confirmation that we did the right thing when we left the Western World behind for a different life and a chance to start over.

In other words: We are not letting these challenges stop us from doing what we are here to do. To build a better, softer way of life for our family as well as showing a model for how more people can live better in the future. BUT, we admit it is not easy, and we do need help.
